HOPE Brigade 2019 Volunteers Visits Papua New Guinea November 2019

Three of our awesome HOPEww Australia representatives and volunteers Robyn, Louise and Ricaredo were in PNG November 2019! On Thursday they visited the 9 Mile & Lawes Road Health Clinics and had a very productive time with the administrators and nurses.​

They visited the 9 Mile & Lawes Road Health Clinics which are two urban clinics located in Port Moresby. These locations provide vital health services including STI testing & treatment, antenatal care and general outpatient services, and care for over 300 patients on a daily basis.

I was impressed by the unstinting hard work by the nurses and staff at 9-Mile District Clinic despite the challenges they face every day. They would often not break for lunch so as serve as many as possible. Ricaredo De La Costa (Hopeww Australia Rep)
