How does my donation help reach people?
HOPE worldwide Australia has the vision of implementing the ministry of Jesus in serving the poor. It was founded in 1993 by members of the International Churches of Christ, who continue to support health and education programs in Papua New Guinea.
These programs are run in collaboration with our partner organisation 'HOPE worldwide PNG'. Together we invest in local long-term developement and programs in order to produce best-practice sustainable outcomes. Last year we were able to reach almost 100,000 vulnerable individuals.

A single HOPE clinic in Simbu Province benefits over 5000 men, women and children annually
|
HOPE assisted in the construction of an aid-post in the remote village of Kalewere, Simbu Province. Over 5000 men, women and children will benefit from the health services provide, including the vulnerable, elderly, people living with a disability, pregnant women and young infants. Currently people walk 5 to 6 hours to access the this health centre.
The next stage of the project is already being planned; installation of plumbing for a water supply and staff housing to allow for extended service times. |
