HOPE for Healthy Communities Event- Mental Health Forum
The HOPE for Healthy Communities event is not a licensed mental health service and is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, treatment or assessment. HOPE for Healthy Communities: a mental health forum has the theme of ‘Moving to Wellness’ and talks covering common mental health topics and neurodiversity delivered by experts in the field. The event aims to educate the community as well as those working in the health profession. So far $8000 was raised from the event, supporting vulnerable communities in Papua New Guinea and Fiji through HOPE worldwide Australia.
The event also had a mental health resource table (sponsored by MIPS), provided an opportunity to learn about mental health services, network and talk to mental health clinicians. Light lunch was sponsored by 13SICK. The 2025 Presentations can be viewed below.
