HOPE worldwide Australia is a Christian non-government organisation committed to bringing hope and changing the lives of those in need.
HOPE worldwide has the vision of implementing the ministry of Jesus in serving the poor. It was founded in 1993 by members of the International Churches of Christ, who continue to support health and education programs in Papua New Guinea. These programs are run in collaboration with our partner organisation HOPE worldwide PNG.
HOPE worldwide Australia continues to support our network of members globally as well as respond to global disasters through our Global Disaster Response team, based in Indonesia.
How can we help?
In 2014 local programs were set up in Melbourne and other cities around the region through our partnership with the International Churches of Christ; 'HOPE representatives' were designated to oversee these programs.
The Country Director, Dr Mark Timlin is based in Melbourne and works alongside the HOPE Board to guide the direction of the organisation.
