COVID19 Response in Papua New Guinea
Regina, manager of the Lawes road Clinic gives an update on the COVID19 preparation for screening patients.
Lawes road clinic set up for COVID19 screening and treatment. Staff have all receive training in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), but supplies have been very limited and some staff are without and items such as surgical masks and gowns are being re-used.

HOPE worldwide Papua New Guinea operates 2 clinics in Port Moresby: the Lawes road Clinic (at 6 mile) and the 9 Mile Clinic (serving more remote communities). They have been selected by the PNG Government to screen and treat patients for COVID19. These clinics are some of the busiest in the country and treat vulnerable groups, such as people with TB and HIV.
