HOPE in Fiji- timely support to Fijians in need
HOPE worldwide Fiji sustained lives and livelihoods over the past year. Many church members and their families have benefited from the generous donations of of the South Pacific and Australia Churches of Christ. In addition the wider communities benefitted through Church volunteers and the partnership with generous companies like Rosies. Families in Nadi have been supported by providing employment opportunities through the Higgins Fiji/Rosie roadworks program. This was a very timely intervention and has sustained over 20 families through 2020 and currently in 2021.
Rosies also organized a number of life skills workshops in 2020 that have helped a number of individuals in starting their own businesses. A great help has been HOPE worldwide Fiji's food Aid. Partnership with Supermarkets and the provision of food vouchers in 2020 and 2021 has been making a real difference in sustaining lives of many Fijians. |
